OH Deer … a DEER!

Each design is handcut and appliqued by me, sew (!) each one is unique. A new design for 2010.

It was recently commissioned to be made in pink –which looks rather striking.

Nesting Knives

Meeting is a set of kitchen knives: paring knife, carving knife, chef’s knife, filleting knife and their block. They all seem to be
sculpted out of one piece of steel. The proportions are determined by the Fibonacci sequence with as it’s base the average width of a hand.
This set was awarded the first prize of the Fifth European Award for Cutlery Creation and is edited by Deglon in Thiers (France).

As long as you can see the squirrel you’ll know that your plant is a happy little plant but if the squirrel ducks back down into the log, it’s time to water the plant! It’s a perfectly pleasant planter for the home or the office LOVE IT!!

“Disturb Me” is an interactive installation between human and his environment. It is to make perceptible the reciprocal links and often forgotten contact, that we maintain with our environment.

The projection depends on the sound emitted by the spectators and creates consequently, a transitory and colored environment. The projected forms are revealed when in contact with surfaces of the room.

The senses are awakened, the room becomes alive.

Black & White Clock

Vadim Kibardin’s (Kibardindesign) takes the minimalist philosophy of stripping an object to its essentials to a whole new level. The Russian designer says his Black & White Clock contains only the most necessary element, i.e. current time.

“Digital clock: only figures, no case, only the necessary – only accurate time. Each figure has self-contained power supply and independent control, it can be fixed to any surface autonomously. A light sensor will switch the clock to an invert mode: the figures are white in the dark time of day and black at daytime.”
